Archival Newspaper Collages (collected between Nov '20-Jan '21)​

I love collecting old magazines and think it is a fascinating way to read history—through the lens of people in the present, not knowing what the future looks like (but trying to make sense of it anyway).

​

I collected a couple month's worth of NYT papers in 2020.

To me, these collages visually track the tumultuousness and unpredictability of those months.

Materials: NYT cutouts, washi tape, double-sided tape, glue
